EID EL-MAULUD – GOVERNOR LALONG TASKS MUSLIMS ON LOVE
As muslims mark Eid El- Maulud, Plateau State Governor Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong is asking them to use the occasion to think of what they can do to demonstrate love to others particularly those who are of other Faiths.
Governor Lalong in a goodwill message to the Muslim Ummah says the occasion provides another opportunity for sober reflection where the virtues of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) will resonate with all muslims as they demonstrate love.
He used the occasion to call on Muslims to continue to pray for the nation and uphold leaders at all levels so they can be granted the ability to tackle the nation’s problems.
He asks the citizens of Plateau State to show love and tolerance to one another as the peace currently enjoyed in the State is consolidated.
He assures all that his administration will continue to work at building lasting legacies for Plateau State through its three-pillar policy thrust of peace, security and good governance, infrastructural development and economic rebirth.
