ADP shocked over the undemocratic posture of Lalong

From the ADP, PLATEAU STATE

Our great party the Action Democratic Party in Plateau state is shocked over the undemocratic posture of the Plateau state government in the appointment of another set of management committee chairmen for Riyom , Barkin-Ladi, Jos North and South LGAs in spite of the massive public outcry for a democratic elections to take place in these LGAs.
By this appointment which was hurriedly stage managed and using the state House of Assembly in endorsing it is undemocratic and a clear gesture in rubbishing our hard earned democracy.
ADP in the state which has completed arrangements in slogging it out with all the political powers that be in the state and was expecting nothing but absolute victory at the poll has now been taking aback.
The ADP in Plateau state is calling on the APC government to retrieve from all such steps of murdering our hard earned fight for true democracy and respect the rule of law.
We wished as citizens of this state that a free and fear elections would have been conducted and whoever emerged as winner be given his or her mandate.
We as a party are wondering what could be attributed as reasons for this action as any right thinking citizen in the state knows that peace have returned to these LGAs.
Finally as the number one citizen of the State we’re calling on the governor to as a matter of urgency uphold the rule of law as sworn in while taking the mantle of leadership.
We however appeal to all our members in the state to remain calm and go about their day to day activities as the party was doing everything possible to bring the government to book and to also defend our democracy.

Finally we are calling on the governor of the State Simon Bako Lalong to fulfilled his promises of all inclusive government to take the state to greater high .
