Plateau Guber Tribunal Judgment: Panel holds that the false information made in form CF001 by Lalong is not fundamental in nature.

• The issue of lalong different names as allege by the petitioners and the certificate issue the tribunal held that the petitioners did not plead and says lalong the second respondent is not the owner of the certificate, and the tribunal held and resolved that the second respondent lalong is the owner of the certificate and all the 4 different names are link together and as such, and the electoral acts Show’s and said to contest for an elections you most have up to secondary results that’s the minimum qualication, and the second respondent has the qualication and he’s therefore qualify to contest for an election.The tribunal resolve the issue in favour of the second respondent lalong.

The tribunal also holds that pw1,8,9,6,5,2 after adopting their witness on oath also couldn’t prove over voting, the petitioners present 71 witnesses and tendered over a hundred documents, the tribunal rule that pw71 who identified the documents as inec documents as the 1st respondent and the petitioners haven’t listed over 300 areas and front loaded over 300 witnesses deposition only presented 71 witnesses and was able to prove 13 polling units for over voting and cancellelations.

total votes after judgment Apc591,572 PDP 545,374Total winning votes 46,143. Tribunal said with just 13 polling proved out 38 witnesses called by PDP.

The petition was able to prove 4,35 votes when added together as against 591,517 of APC and PDP 545,374 and the difference is 46,143 over the above petition, so on the ground of this the petitioners couldn’t prove their petition and here by the tribunal found no merit on it and dismiss the petition.
